Basquiat-Inspired Art Class — A Creative Journey for Children and Their Caregivers
Join us this June at Mustard Seed for a special Basquiat-Inspired Art Class, where children and their caregivers are invited to create side by side in a joyful, expressive environment. Rooted in the bold, raw, and imaginative style of Jean-Michel Basquiat, this class encourages kids to explore their emotions, stories, and inner worlds through color, texture, and movement.
This is a donation-based class ($5 suggested) designed to be accessible and community-centered. Parents or caregivers stay and actively participate, helping to foster connection and co-regulation through shared creativity.
This class is neurodivergent-affirming, welcoming all children exactly as they are, and offering a sensory-aware space that supports free expression and emotional safety.
Come make art, make memories, and be part of something beautifully messy and meaningful.
