Mustard Seed Summer Camp
An Inclusive, Nature-Based Camp for Neurodivergent Children
At Mustard Seed, our summer camp is more than just a seasonal program—it’s a nurturing, sensory-friendly experience designed with intention, care, and a deep respect for each child’s individuality.
Our inclusive, nature-based camp welcomes neurodivergent children, including those with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), autism, and sensory processing differences. We focus on building trust, fostering emotional safety, and creating joyful opportunities for connection.
Camp Highlights:
Daily outdoor adventures in shaded, natural spaces
Nature play, gardening, and mindful exploration
Open-ended art inspired by natural materials
Sensory-friendly environment with calming supports
Co-regulation practices and a relationship-first approach
Storytelling, music, and movement woven into the rhythm of the day
Children are supported by a team of compassionate guides, therapists, and educators who are trained in trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming approaches. With a low camper-to-staff ratio (3:1 standard, 1:1 available), every child is seen, heard, and supported at their own pace.
Campers are encouraged to be exactly who they are—whether that means making art barefoot in the grass, spending time in quiet reflection, or running joyfully through the trees.
Our camp is rooted in our belief that children thrive when they feel safe, connected, and free to be themselves. Mustard Seed is a place where community, creativity, and compassion grow.
